Using Airsoft Guns for Self Defense
Using an airsoft gun as home protection does not usually come to the mind when thinking about home protection. More traditional is a home security system or a real gun. But let's look at the negative sides of those two options (there are other things, but I'll just focus on these two). I first would like to say that the home security system is definitely the best way to go, and the only real downside is the price. You have to pay a large monthly or yearly charge in order to keep the service, and that can make a big dent in your budget. And let's be real, you do not need the actual system as long as you have the sign on the front of your lawn. If you have the money, the security service is the best route to take, but of course a real or airsoft gun could be used as a backup. The problem with real guns is that, according to statistics, they kill more people than they protect, in the case of home protection. Also, you are supposed to keep the ammo and the gun in separate places, which is worthless in an emergency. Imagine a guy waking up to a burglar, reaching for his gun, and remembering the ammo is in the basement. What a horrible feeling that would be!
An airsoft gun is the perfect alternative to a real gun. While, of course, it does not have the power a real gun has, it still is an effective defense weapon. You don't need to seriously injure someone or kill them to stop them. However, a spring gun would not do well enough, because you would need to fire multiple times. You may be worried, if the assailant has a real gun, that he would be able to defeat you. This is not true. While it cannot be argued that he would have an advantage, you can still easily "win". If you shoot someone in the face once with an airsoft gun, they will immediately reach up to their face, even if they have a real gun. It really only take shot, because getting shot in the face with anything hurts A LOT, and the burglar will be stunned for a good while (only a few seconds, but in the moment, enough). This gives you time to run up and give a hit large enough to knock him out or disable him. The airsoft method should be used in conjunction with a bat, to be sure that you completely disable the assailant. The reason you should not use a spring gun is because one, they are not that powerful and would not hurt as bad, and two, if you miss, you cannot afford to re-cock the spring.
I bet all of this seems like a lot of trouble when you could simply kill the guy. Keep in mind that real guns are incredibly dangerous, and as mentioned, hurt more people then they protect. Also, you get into a lot more legal trouble if you kill someone, even if it self-defense. Not to mention, shooting someone makes a lot of blood, and then you have to worry about cleaning all that off your wall and carpet/floor (that's a joke).
Even if you have a safe neighborhood, something bad can happen at anytime. There are times when you might not feel safe for some reason. Having an airsoft gun can make your home feel safer; it does not have the serious damage capacity of a real gun, but it will work in an emergency. On dark and stormy nights, a simple airsoft gun can make the difference between feeling scared or calm.

3 Ways to Declutter a House
There are many of us that would love to realize the happiness that can come with organized living but we tend to live in homes that are simply overcome with clutter. If you have the problem of hanging onto things more than you should, and if piles of unknown objects and forgotten memorabilia are overwhelming your home then here are 3 practical ways to declutter a house.
Pick a spot and start your declutter system. I often start at the entrance to a room when I go about starting to declutter a room. Then I work my way around the room in a wave, not going back and not jumping forward. This has two nice effects, it helps you to be organized about your organizing, and if you need some motivation to keep going you can look at what is already done.
Timing is everything when trying to declutter a house. Many of us start to declutter a room and we get so deep into the mess that when it is suddenly time to stop we are left with a bigger mess, and no motivation to jump back in. It is better if you were to set a clock for a designated time and then to work at top speed until that clock went off. That way you accomplish the most in the time allotted and you don't get overwhelmed with doing just one more thing before you quit.
Search and destroy is the method that many people use when the are going to declutter a house. Take a couple boxes with you, one for anything that you are going to get rid of and the other for things that you are unsure what you are going to do about. When you are done, or when the second box gets full then go back through it and look at each item objectively to see if you really need to keep it. If you don't then put it into the other box.

Best Alliance Paladin Race - A Breakdown by Purpose
Looking to start a new paladin, but not sure which traits make for the best Alliance paladin race? Don't worry, this article will explain the benefits of each race, for each path a paladin might pursue!
First, let's talk about PvP. Human's have a few handy traits for PvP: Every Man for Himself frees up a trinket slot, Perception improves your ability to spot Stealth classes, and Mace and Sword specialization improve your expertise and thus your damage. Dwarves have better Mace specialization, but no Sword specialization, and Stoneform, an ability that removes a variety of debuffs and provides a temporary armor buff. Finally, Draenei get a passive hit buff and Gift of the Naaru, a powerful instant HoT how that scales with spellpower or attack power. Overall, human comes out best here!
Second, let's discuss tanking. Almost ironically, the powerful human racials are mostly useless for tanking. Sure, the weapon specialization help increase threat generation, but not by enough to be particularly meaningful. Draenei's hit buff is similar, although their HoT can be a lifesaver at times. Overall, though Dwarf is the best Alliance paladin race for tanking; their Stoneform ability is very handle, providing them with a multipurpose emergency cooldown that removes many debuffs and improves armor.
Next up is DPS. For those who don't already have a Draenei in their party, the passive hit buff being a draenei grants is amazing for DPS, and the HoT can be a life saver. Otherwise, Dwarf and Human are about evenly matched; Human has more flexibility in weapon choices, while Dwarf is superior if using a mace.
Finally, healing. To be honest, none of the Alliance races has specifically healing-useful traits. All three races have semi-useful emergency abilities, but Draenei also provide a buff to their party members, making them the best by a tiny bit.
So, what's the conclusion? Humans are the best at PvP, and are decent choices for anything else. Draenei can excel at anything, thanks to their powerful hit buff and emergency heal. Dwarves make the best tanks, and do fairly well at everything else. So really, which is the best Alliance paladin race is going to depend on your priorities as a player.

What in the World is a Battery Jump Starter?
Have you ever left your headlights or some other electrical device on overnight and came out bright and early to start you car? The battery is completely dead. All you hear is the pathetic dying sound of that annoying buzzer in the dashboard. To add insult to injury your wife or husband has just pulled out of the driveway and they are gone.
What do you do?
Like most people you have a pair of jumper cables but that requires another car. It is too early to wake you neighbor or picture a dead car on the proverbial deserted highway with no one to help you. This is where a battery jump starter can become your best friend. A jump starter or battery booster is the equivalent to having another car with a good battery packaged in a small, portable box. They are basically a rechargeable battery with a pair of jumper cables attached. All you need to do is hook up the cables and start your car. These little jewels can be a lifesaver. They are compact and easy to carry. You can keep it in the garage or put it in the trunk. I have my wife to carry one, so she doesn't have to go wandering around some dark alley or parking garage with a pair of jumper cables.
In a situation like this, a jump starter is the ticket to getting your car up and running.
There are several models and makes out there. Some can jump a 24 volt or 12 volt battery. These are ideal for tow truck drivers that have to jump diesels and gasoline engines. A few even have air compressors built into the unit and outlet to plug a cell phone. If you are traveling long distances, a jump starter can be an emergency back up power source for you car battery, cell phone and air up a flat tire. Be wary of the cheap ones that they sell at your local big box store for 50 bucks. For example, they sometimes label them as having 450 amps but in reality they have only 250 amps of "cranking" power. You are much better off buying a professional grade unit like the Jump N Carry. A unit like this has 1,700 amps of cranking power and is built for repeated use. You get what you pay for in the world of the battery jump starter.
